Protected Learning Time – mandatory training for staff
Following national guidance the surgery closes 10 afternoons in the year to allow clinical and administrative staff to complete mandatory training (such as CPR training), ensure clinicians remain clinically up to date with both national and local guideline changes and to review our functioning as a practice.
On a protected learning time afternoon, the practice closes at 13:00.
The dates for protected learning (staff training) times in 2025 include:
